In the Pool
There are two children’s pools and a 6-lane, 25 meters long deeper pool in the Valkeakoski swimming hall. There are two or three lanes reserved for those who swim distance; arrows show you the right swimming direction.
Please, help us keep the pool clean:
- don’t wear swimsuits in the shower or in the sauna
- wash your hair before going into the pool – or use a cap
- have a good wash before going into the pool
The swimming ticket includes the right to use the gym. However, the total time to have the locker key is still the same 2 hours. If you want to use only the gym without time limit, you can’t use the Swimming Hall lockers and the prices are only 2,70 e for children under 16 years and senior citizens or 4,00 e for adults.
In the winter, Korkeakangas Skiing Centre is the place, where you can enjoy cross country skiing. Some other fine tracks you can find in the northern part of the town, in the area of Roukko/Eerola. During summertime, the tracks are available for jogging and walking in the nature.
