Water Services

Water services include water supply, water treatment and distribution as well as waste water treatment, sewerage and purification.

Water supply and treatment

Water station locates in Tyrynlahti. Water station supplies treated water to Valkeakoski’s inhabitants, businesses and industries. There is also groundwater intake in Kemmola area.

Central treatment plant receives waste water from Valkeakoski inner city and also Kärjenniemi, Koivuniemi and Sääksmäki areas waste water.

When building’s ownership changes, it must be reported to water utility customer service office. Building’s old owner is responsible for water and waste water invoices as long as water meter reading is reported to water utility.
