Apianlahti Camping is a year-round campsite located in the town center by the water. At the campsite you’ll find a barbecue shelter, a restaurant, a large summer terrace, a performance stage, and a traditional wood-heated lakeside sauna.

The campsite also offers cabins, camping pitches, and equipment rental. On the campsite’s beautiful summer terrace you can also enjoy delicious stone-oven pizzas and other tasty dishes.

From the atmospheric, traditional wood-heated lakeside sauna you can step directly into the waters of Lake Mallasvesi. The sauna benches accommodate up to four people at a time, but thanks to the changing room and the pier, larger groups can enjoy the sauna experience together. The lakeside sauna is available for rent year-round. (There is no running water in the sauna; lake water is used instead.)

In addition, the impressive M/S Waltikka sauna raft with its own hot tub offers a unique sauna experience on the waters of Lake Mallasvesi.

For celebrations and larger events, the hotel’s event restaurant can host gatherings of more than 300 guests. The flexible spaces can be adapted to suit different types of occasions, from weddings and parties to corporate events.

Ilola Farm Tourism offers a unique countryside setting for meetings, celebrations, and events of many sizes. The venue provides several different spaces, including Ilola’s main house, Wanha Asema, and Pietola Manor, suitable for gatherings from small meetings to events of up to 150 guests. The facilities are ideal for conferences, seminars, recreational days, and private celebrations.

In addition to event spaces, Ilola offers accommodation, catering services, tableware rental, equipment rental, and other supporting services. Guests can also enjoy traditional Finnish sauna experiences, including wood-heated saunas, a smoke sauna, barrel saunas, and a lakeside sauna with the possibility to cool off in the lake. Hot tubs and an outdoor Finnish hot tub are also available, making Ilola a perfect destination for relaxing events and memorable countryside experiences.

Isän talo – Father’s House is a home by a lake in southern Finland. It is located in a rural setting in Ritvala, Valkeakoski, between Tampere and Helsinki.

At Isän talo you stay in an atmospheric 19th-century house surrounded by nature, with views over the shores of Lake Vanajavesi. The house has beds for ten people in four bedrooms. The atmosphere feels like something out of an old Finnish film.

Isän talo is an old farmhouse that invites you to get away from it all. It is the perfect vacation home for relaxation and rest all year round. You can enjoy walks in the lush green countryside or on the ice in winter. You can also go on excursions to explore the many cultural attractions in the surrounding area.

At the end of a short leafy path there is a private swimming beach or in winter, ice suitable for kick sledding. For an additional fee, you can also rent the hall of Isän talo, for example for family celebrations.

Koivusalo Cottage
Stay in the 100-year-old, carefully renovated log cottage of Koivusalo, surrounded by nature and complete privacy. The cottage is available for weekend rentals in spring and autumn, and during summer, it is used for a shepherding holiday package from Monday to Sunday.

Pappilanniemi Course Center
Pappilanniemi is perfect for camps, recreational days, catered meals, meetings, sauna evenings, and private or corporate celebrations. The center accommodates around 60 guests.

Located on the shores of Lake Vanajavesi, the property features a scenic nature trail, a traditional Finnish kota, a campfire area, and a disc golf course. In summer, guests can also use a hand-operated ferry to reach a nearby island with a lean-to shelter.

Facilities are rented by the Sääksmäki Parish.

Dining Hall
The 65-seat dining hall is ideal for meals and celebrations, featuring flexible table arrangements, a serving line, and a piano. Guests enjoy beautiful lake views from the hall and terrace. Catering options include buffet meals, full-board packages, meeting refreshments, campfire pancake batter, and special event catering.

Group Work Spaces
Includes the main hall, a fully equipped kitchen, and a discussion room with a conference display and Wi-Fi. The space has its own entrance to the lakeshore.

Lakeside Sauna
The upper floor has a sauna room for 25 guests with a kitchenette, table seating, sofa, and TV, suitable for small meetings or cozy evening gatherings. The lower floor has two changing rooms and one shower. Up to 14 people can enjoy the soft heat of the sauna at a time, with a direct view of the lake and just a few steps to the refreshing waters of Vanajavesi. Guests can also bring their own snacks and beverages, and the outdoor fireplace on the terrace is perfect for grilling sausages.

Päivölä
Accommodation at Päivölä offers a cultural countryside experience in Sääksmäki. Guests can easily visit the nearby Visavuori Museum or explore other cultural sites in the area by bike. The campus also provides access to a beautiful nature trail for relaxing walks.

Stay in a cottage enjoying the peace of nature. If you feel like rowing there is a small lake nearby.
