Harbours and piers for visiting boats

There are 19 harbours  in Valkeakoski with 557 boat berths by the piers and 478 shore side berths and 13 ship berths.

For visitor´s boats there are 35 berths. A new visitor´s pier has been completed in spring 2003 at the Lepänkorva bank in the city center.

In the following harbours there are only visitor´s boat berths:

Places to get ashore at Valmarinniemi recreational area

In Valkeakoski and its surroundings there are several islands suitable for hiking. In the Lake Mallasvesi there are e.g. Huhtasaari and Riuttasaari at Valmarinniemi recreational area. On some of the islands you are even allowed make camp and light a fire.
